As a school we are aiming to become Hedgehog Champions through the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. We found out that hedgehog numbers are declining so we want to do all we can to help! Right now, we are working towards our award for helping hedgehogs. All the classes in the school have been taking part in activities to help us achieve this such as researching how to help hedgehogs, building hedgehog houses, creating hedgehog feeding stations, litter picking and building hedgehog tunnels to check for footprints to find out in we have any here at Grange Primary.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We know that we have hedgehogs as we rescued one in our school grounds at the beginning of the year.
