This promotes our Learning Heroes which are the qualities we hope all learners grow and develop when learning.<\/p>\n<p>Our Learning Heroes &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positive<\/strong> Polly,\u00a0<strong>Resilient<\/strong> Robert,\u00a0<strong>Creative<\/strong> Coral,\u00a0<strong>Cooperative<\/strong> Chris,\u00a0<strong>Curious<\/strong> Colin and\u00a0<strong>Reflective<\/strong> Rose<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emoji Stairs of Learning\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learners are regularly encouraged to reflect on their learning; to think about what has gone well and what their next steps might be.<\/p>\n<p>Our Emoji Stairs of Learning was created to show the different stages we may go through when learning something new and challenging and encourage us to be resilent and learn from mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>We use a 3-stair version for P1-3 (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/public\/carlogieprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/1752\/2023\/03\/23125559\/emoji-stairs-of-learning-EARLY.pdf\">P1-3 Emoji stairs of learning)\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>and 5-stairs for P4-7 (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/public\/carlogieprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/1752\/2023\/03\/23125602\/emoji-stairs-of-learning.pdf\">P4-7 Emoji stairs of <\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/public\/carlogieprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/1752\/2023\/03\/23125602\/emoji-stairs-of-learning.pdf\">learning).\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Classroom Visual Timetables \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every classroom uses a visual timetable and other visual environmental supports as part of our &#8216;total communication approach&#8217;. These support all learners in following instructions, developing independence and navigating their school day.
