Last week we found this rock at our front entrance. We were intrigued! We have since found out that this is a campaign to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance. The link below explains this in more detail:

Remembrance Day
This year, P7 sold lots of poppies around the school and the P1-3 pupils made a beautiful display in the hall.

P7 Classroom
Our P7 pupils are loving their new classroom! As part of a Digital Innovation project we were granted money to enhance the learning and engagement of our pupils. We used some of this to buy each pupil an iPad and some to buy new furniture for the class. We have 6 nodes, 6 beanbags, a standing whiteboard table, 6 wobble stools, yellow interlocking tables, a Promethean ActivTable and ActivPanel.
Feedback so far has been very positive! Here is Megan to tell us what she thinks!

The Wizard of Oz at the Whitehall Theatre

Dundee Flower and Food Festival

Gymnastic Competition
On Sunday Olivia, Ruby and Kaitlyn took part in a gymnastics competition in Perth. Unfortunately they didn’t win but they still had a great time. Well done girls!

HEALTH WEEK 2017
Yet again this year we had another fantastic Health Week with so many visitors! As well as all the visitors shown in the photos above we also had our Sports Day and the finals of our Birkie’s Got Talent competition.
Unfortunately the weather was against us on Wednesday and we had to cancel our whole school trip to Camperdown Park. This didn’t dampen our spirits and the classrooms were a hive of activity all day!
