Auchterhouse Primary is a rural setting situated at the foot of the Sidlaws, four miles north of Dundee. It is part of the Monifieth cluster within Angus Council, split into 2 classes. Our purpose built nursery opened in August 2019.<\/p>\n
We have a visiting Additional Support Needs (ASN) teacher,\u00a0 a Strings Instructor and an Active Schools Coordinator.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/b>Auchterhouse has excellent facilities for outdoor\u00a0l<\/span>earning with\u00a0l<\/span>arge grassy areas and play structures. Right next to the school is a community garden which pupils take responsibility for its upkeep by working with family members to maintain it.<\/p>\n Auchterhouse has an active parent council who are extremely supportive of the school. They meet once a term to discuss school developments, school improvements and fundraising.
