{"id":4544,"date":"2020-06-04T07:50:31","date_gmt":"2020-06-04T06:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/?p=4544"},"modified":"2020-06-04T07:50:31","modified_gmt":"2020-06-04T06:50:31","slug":"angus-toy-appeal-voluntary-action-angus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/2020\/06\/04\/angus-toy-appeal-voluntary-action-angus\/","title":{"rendered":"Angus Toy Appeal \/ Voluntary Action Angus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">posted by Lynn Richards, Community Justice Assistant, Angus Council<\/p>\n<p><\/span><strong>Angus Toy Appeal \/Voluntary Action Angus &#8211; Keep Little Hands Busy &#8211;\u00a0Referral Guidelines<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong><u>Referral Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Angus Toy Appeal are working in partnership with Voluntary Action Angus to deliver a COVID19 \u201ckeep little hands busy\u201d appeal.<\/p>\n<p>Families are struggling with staying at home in many ways, keeping children busy is particularly difficult, more so if parents are stressed about money, job security, etc.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to reach these families right now, and supply age appropriate toys, activities and games to help alleviate some of that pressure.<\/p>\n<p>We do sometimes get \u201cdoublers\u201d from different agencies, but if in doubt submit your referral to ensure we don\u2019t miss any children out.<\/p>\n<p>If you require specific sensory toys or to assist with learning disabilities, please be specific on your referral.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the urgency, and schools being closed all bags will be delivered straight to the family by a volunteer from Voluntary Action Angus or a committee member.<strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Dead line for referrals<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is no dead line!
