We organise fun, free maths contests for Angus and would like to help pupils get involved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I enter my class?<br \/>\n<\/strong>You can enter your class\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sumdog.com\/landing\/?utm_source=contests&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=contest-helpers-scot&amp;utm_content=angus-cl&amp;next=https:\/\/www.sumdog.com\/enter_contest\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nSimply select the class\/classes you would like to enter into the contest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do pupils take part in the contest?<br \/>\n<\/strong>On the contest start date, your pupils will see the name of the contest on their Activity panel. They will need to have this selected to take part in the contest. They then just need to answer the questions and play the games as normal. Each correct answer will equal 1 point.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How\u00a0do\u00a0the contests work?<br \/>\n<\/strong>All the questions are adapted to the pupil, so everyone has an equal chance of winning. There is a maximum number of questions per pupil, and results are based on accuracy, so even\u00a0if\u00a0you can only get on the computers\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0short\u00a0period of time your\u00a0class\u00a0can still be a winner! Pupils can also take part and answer questions on their own devices outside of school hours. Questions will reflect what you teach in\u00a0class\u00a0as they are curriculum-aligned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does Sumdog know which questions to ask each pupil?<br \/>\n<\/strong>When pupils first use Sumdog they\u00a0will do a diagnostic test\u00a0to place them at their level. Once they have completed the diagnostic test, their answers contribute to the contest. We recommend pupils start practising\u00a0now so the questions have adapted in time for the contest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are there prizes?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The top class will win a 6 month Sumdog subscription, with extra activities and teacher tools!
