{"id":3702,"date":"2018-06-20T08:26:16","date_gmt":"2018-06-20T07:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/?p=3702"},"modified":"2018-06-20T08:27:45","modified_gmt":"2018-06-20T07:27:45","slug":"glow-password-reset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/2018\/06\/20\/glow-password-reset\/","title":{"rendered":"Glow Password Reset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">posted by Morna Duncan, Admin Assistant, Schools &amp; Learning<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Glow Account <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Glow is an online closed environment with access restricted to learners,\u00a0 teachers and others directly involved in the delivery of education.\u00a0 Access to Glow services are controlled by an individual Username and Password for each user.<\/p>\n<p>Cyber security best practice suggests Glow users should do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep your password to yourself<\/li>\n<li>Never let anyone else access Glow using your account details<\/li>\n<li>Never access the system with another user\u2019s login details<\/li>\n<li>Always choose a password in line with the guidance found here:\u00a0<a style=\"font-size: 1rem\" href=\"https:\/\/glowconnect.org.uk\/password-guidance\/\">https:\/\/glowconnect.org.uk\/password-guidance\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Always choose \u201cno\u201d when prompted to save your password on a device which you share with others<\/li>\n<li>Always sign out fully from your Glow session when no longer using it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should always follow the guidance about internet safety provided by your school, remembering to keep yourself safe online.
