{"id":1941,"date":"2016-10-31T14:39:56","date_gmt":"2016-10-31T14:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/?p=1941"},"modified":"2016-10-31T14:42:47","modified_gmt":"2016-10-31T14:42:47","slug":"rspb-celebrating-nature-with-schools-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/an\/anguschildrenandlearning\/2016\/10\/31\/rspb-celebrating-nature-with-schools-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"RSPB Celebrating Nature with Schools Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">posted by Lesley Watson,\u00a0Business Liaison Officer \u2013 Schools &amp; Learning<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dear Colleagues<\/p>\n<p>Please find attached information regarding the launch of local partner RSPB\u2019s \u2018Celebrating Nature with Schools\u2019 project.<\/p>\n<p>The project aims to engage P5-7 pupils with the story of the return of the magnificent white tailed eagle.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to funding from the People\u2019s Postcode Lottery, RSPB are able to offer free outreach sessions to Angus schools including transport to a variety of beautiful outdoor locations around the Tay Estuary.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils will participate in a range of interactive activities to learn about the life cycle of the white tailed eagle, from pair bonding and nest building to raising chicks and hunting.<\/p>\n<p>Workshops are on offer year round and will be 2-3 hours long depending on location. Free transport will be on a first come first served basis.
