St Patrick’s Day – Ireland’s Patron Saint

Thursday 17th March was St Patrick’s Day and we have decided to take this opportunity to inform you of the library’s Irish authors!

Classics

Ireland has produced some very famous authors over the last 150 years here are the most famous (all of these are available from the library):

James Joyce – Ulysses

CS Lewis – The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe

Bram Stoker – Dracula

Jonathan Swift – Gulliver’s Travels

Oscar Wilde – Various Poems

Contemporary Literature

If reading old classics aren’t your thing we have a few modern day authors in stock:

Cecelia Ahern – Where Rainbows End (and other novels)

Maeve Binchy – Circle of Friends

Eoin Colfer – The Artemis Fowl Series
