The Library has launched a new Beuk Neuk (Book Corner) Wiki within its Reader Development Glow pages as part of the Brechin Library led ‘Book Buddies‘ initiative. Book Buddies, the brainchild of Brechin Library staff, is a newly formed literacy community of learning partners incorporating public, school (Brechin High and cluster primaries) and nursery Reading Groups – all in and around Brechin City.

Each month Book Buddies ‘befriend’ a book, undertaking a range of learning activites based around this title. Beuk Neuk’s Brechin High pupil members will post book recs and reviews with a specific target audience in “Teen” readership.
