Walker Road currently has an active Parent Council who are working together with staff to ensure the experience for all pupils is a positive one. The Parent Council meets once a month (on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm) to discuss issues affecting the school and how to support the staff to take forward school improvements. Our current chairperson is Chris Wright and he is supported by Lesley-Anne Yeats as Vice-Chairperson. If you have anything you would like to raise then please contact either Chris or Lesley-Anne through the school office.
There is a very active Parent Teacher Association who work together to organise school events and fundraisers. The PTA also supports children with projects and recently mentored the P7s in organising a Christmas Disco. If you would like to help at events, or have an idea, then please contact Kath McGhee via the school office.
