We talked about how some sounds go in the same box and some go in their own box. We then diacritically marked these words by putting a dot under single sounds and a line under sounds like &#8216;ch, sh, oo and ee&#8217; . The group went once step further and were able to sound how many sounds were in the word after diacritically marking it. We also had a go at using our names for this activity.
