Primary School Meals.
Lunches are served each day in the school dining hall. They are prepared daily on the premises. In line with Aberdeen City Council policy and the Hungry for Success initiative, menus are planned to provide nutritious, well presented meal choices daily. School staff promote the healthy options and actively encourage their uptake. When children are taking meals on a regular basis, the money should be brought to school on the first day of each week. However, any child may have lunch any day without prior notice.
Packed Lunches
Packed lunches should be brought to school in a named lunch box and eaten in the dining hall. In the interest of safety, please do not allow your child to bring glass bottles to school. Any un-wanted / un – finished food will be returned home.
Free school meals are available to parents and carers who are in receipt of income support, Income -based Job Seekers Allowance, or in some places Child Tax Credit. Application forms and more information can be obtained from the school office.
