Global Goals

The Primary 5, 6 and 7 group learning about the Global Goal ‘Zero Hunger’ were working well together to identify the problem locally and worldwide. They were also discussing possible solutions.

Ardeonaig Day 3

Today some groups enjoyed the high ropes and raft building and others gorge walking and crate climbing. The weather has been warm and dry and we are all having a great time. Day 2 at Ardeonaig

Today the boys and girls have been crate climbing, gorge walking and some have been on an adventure day up on the hills. Some even managed the loch jump after the gorges! We are all having a great time and enjoying our evening activities. Please see Twitter page for a few photos of today.

Ardeonaig

Primary 7 have arrived safely at Ardeonaig. They have participated in team games this afternoon and taking part in some more games this evening. All are having a great time! To see some photos have a look on the Fernielea Twitter page.

Primary 7 pupils would like to say a huge thank you to; City Blinds, Bancon Homes and Farmfoods for their very kind donations to help fund their bus to Ardeonaig. Thank you!

Travel Consultant

Today, Alysha, came in to tell the Primary 7 pupils about her job. She gave each group travel brochures and set them some questions. Then each group had to ask their teachers some questions in order to find them a suitable holiday.

 

Civil Engineer

Today, Will, a Civil Engineer came in to talk to the Primary 7 pupils about his job. He challenged them to build a bridge of a certain width, using only straws and tape. It had to hold a specific item.

Personal Trainer

Today, Dan a Personal Trainer came in to discuss his job with the Primary 7 pupils.  They got to take part in some activities he would do with his clients.
