Primary 5 were challenged to use newspaper and tape to make a freestanding chimney 20cm tall! It had to be strong enough to hold a jotter, look at how we got on!

The Sweet Factory
To start Engineer ‘n’ Our Lives week, Primary 5 took part in a sweet factory challenge. We learned about Mechanical Engineers. Our challenge was to create a working drama of how a vending machine works! The skills we developed were sequencing, spacial awareness, teamwork and visualisation.
Rockets
Primary 5 had fun in Science making and launching rockets!
Endangered Species
Primary 5 have developed their research skills by finding out about different endangered species! We used I pads and books to find facts and create a poster about an endangered animal!
