We learned all about the story of Guy Fawkes and watched a very funny and informative Horrible Histories video about the Gunpowder Plot! After our lesson we used soft pastilles on black card to create some art of fireworks reflected in the ocean just like the ones at Aberdeen Beach! We did a fantastic job and are very proud of our work!

We had fun sharing our classroom and learning with P1T. They sang us a great song showing us their counting skills and we sang them a song that we learned about using greetings in French!

We enjoyed learning our spelling words by making them out of Play-Doh!

In Term 1 we developed our problem solving, teamwork and engineering skills by building towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows. The winning tower was the one that could still stand when the hairdryer was trying to blow it over on the highest setting!
