Romeo and Juliet Scenes

We have been looking at Romeo and Juliet in Drama this term with Miss McCrimmon. We investigated the language used in the play. Then we chose either the first fight between the Montagues and Capulets or the party scene where Romeo and Juliet first met to recreate using dance and music. We chose music to accompany our performances. We filmed one of our rehearsals so we could try to improve. Have a look at some of our efforts in the videos below.

I have experienced the energy and excitement of presenting/performing for audiences and being part of an audience for other people’s presentations/performances. EXA 2-01a

Inspired by a range of stimuli, I can express my ideas, thoughts and feelings through creative

work in dance.
EXA 2-09a

I can create, adapt and sustain different roles, experimenting with movement, expression and voice and using theatre arts technology.EXA 2-12a

Rugby fun!

image imageThis term we have started to learn about tag rugby. We have been practising passing forward and then running back to support the player with the ball. We are looking forward to starting to play small group games using team tactics.

While working and learning with others, I improve my range of skills, demonstrate tactics and achieve identified goals. HWB 2-23a
