Library

Today we went to library with Miss Maclean. This is Miss Maclean’s last week with our class.

Sophie

I like library because there are lots of different books so you could find one you’ve never heard of, try it out and maybe buy it if you like it!

Katie

Library is fun because the teacher reads you a book and you can choose your own book.

Fraser

I like library because you choose a book that you might not have wanted to read before.

Josh

Library is fun because you get to look at books that you don’t have at home but you get to take them home. Sometimes the fact books are really funny!

Thank You

Mrs Rennie and Mrs Cox would like to thank all the parents for the flowers and vouchers that we received on Tuesday.  It was so kind of you all and really appreciated.

We were so proud of the children on Tuesday and were glad that so many of you were able to come and see it!

Thanks also to our parent helpers we helped escort the children down to Florence Court on Thursday.  We couldn’t have spread some christmas cheer without you.

Have a fabulous holiday and see you all in 2016!!

We did it!

Congratulations to 5C/R for successfully performing ‘A Christmas Carol’ for our friends and family!  Many thanks again to all who helped with learning lines, costumes and props – we couldn’t have done it without your efforts and support.

Mrs Dalziel took lots of wonderful photos that we will post on the Christmas Carol page asap.

Latest news!

This week has been very busy, but productive!

We have been making calendars with Mrs Rennie and christmas cards with Mrs Cox.

So far we have peformed our school concert twice… 2 down and one to go! We hope everyone enjoyed our singing.

Rehearsals for Scrooge are going well. Most of us are feeling excited and nervous about Tuesday…

“I am nervous about the show because it’s going to be amazing and I might muck up.”

“This is my first ever show and I am really scared!”

“I feel nervous and excited at the same time.”

“It’s challenging because we have to (try our best) to get it right or it can go wrong.”

“I am feeling happy about performing, but nervous all the same.”

“I am so happy that I can sing by myself.”

“I am excited and looking forward to it.”

“I wish I was here but I am not here but anyway I feel excited.”

“I feel so good singing at the show.”

“I feel scared because of all the people.”

“It’s really nerve-racking but i am happy to do it.”

“I am happy because we have worked very hard and we get to show the parents.”

We have really worked hard!

Wish us luck!!!

Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

Maths Games

Today we have been playing maths games with Miss Maclean. Games are good because they are fun. Maths games help make maths fun. They can help you learn in a fun way.
