We have been working hard in maths, focusing on place value and being able to partition, compare and order large numbers.  They have been playing some paired games, working on the interactive whiteboard and completing tasks from textbooks.

Children had fun during the warm up games in Circle Time.  We played the Birthday Game and Pass the Clap. It is lovely to see the children cooperating and working so nicely together.

They wanted to finish with a game they really enjoy called Popcorn.

Mrs Shepherd takes the children for French on Friday mornings, the children were really focused throughout the lesson and finished off making some posters saying their name.

 

 

 

 

On Friday, Cults Primary were raising money for the charity CLAN.  Children could come to school dressed in something purple.

A lady from the charity spoke to the children during assembly and in class we designed our own CLAN house with lots of different activities that the children thought would be fun to do. Everyone was really motivated and came up with some fantastic ideas. Some included a library, swimming pool, trampoline room, spa room, bowling alley, sweetie room and lots more. We will be finishing them off next week.
