We are very proud of you Ryan, Saffron, Megan, Cody and India.

The boys and girls in room 3 had an incredible time at Kirktown Garden Centre today! They had a fun filled morning of exploring the garden centre, playing in the park and looking and tasting plants that we eat.

They were lucky enough to get a special treat snack too!

This week the boys and girls will be trying to read and spell words with the sound

C – I can understand numbers to 20

L – I can say multiples of the 2 times table

I – I can double 1d numbers

C – I can add or take 2 or 3 from a number to 20

This Wednesday we are heading to Kirktown Garden Centre.

We will be leaving just after the children arrive at 8:45am and should be back at school for 12:00pm. It might be sensible to avoid home lunch that day just in case we are a little late back.

There is no need to give your child snack on the day as the Garden Centre are going to provide something.

We are looking forward to another exciting trip!

‘Pupil of the Week‘

Morgan has worked extremely hard all week and was very enthusiastic on our minibeast hunt up Kincorth hill on Thursday.

We are very proud of him!

We had an amazing morning up Kincorth Hill exploring, pond dipping, playing in the park and hunting for minibeasts!

We loved retelling our stories today in reading using Adobe Voice on the iPads.

This week the boys and girls will be trying to read and spell words with a mix of sounds all containing

magic ‘e’

This Thursday we are hoping to join Simon from the ranger service for a walk and minibeast hunt on Kincorth Hill. 

We will be leaving just after the children arrive at 8:45am and should be back at school for 12:00pm. It might be sensible to avoid home lunch that day just in case we are a little late back.

Please ensure that the children have a waterproof jacket with them and sensible footwear – wellies or old trainers.  We will be taking snack with us which should be carried in pockets.

We are looking forward to a morning full of fun and interesting facts. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us!!
