We all had lots of fun exploring the forest in the pouring rain. We particularly enjoyed investigating the mud and were able to use maths words such as deep, shallow, high and low as we jumped, climbed and ran in the mud. We also spoke about why the mud was thicker in certain places.
Many of us in the afternoon class showed an interest in bugs. We used pictures and information books to help us find out what each minibeast was called.
We had our snack in the forest using our new ‘handwashing tree’ and particularly liked warming up with a nice cup of steamy hot chocolate.
A huge thank you to all of our super parent helpers!
