We had a fantastic forest session this morning with the red and yellow boys and girls. The weather was great and the heavy rain had created lots of thick, oozy mud in the forest. Many of us enjoyed jumping, squelching and falling in the mud! A lot of us showed an interest in using rope and string to extend our play. This is a super way of encouraging us to develop fine and gross motor skills in addition to problem solving skills and perseverance.
We had our snack in the forest and were able to follow the new routines of washing our hands using our new hand washing tree! We warmed up with hot chocolate! A huge thank you to our mummy, granny, daddy and grandpa helpers – we couldn’t do it without you! 🙂
