Please click here to access the presentation from the ‘Sharing the learning’ event that took place on Tuesday. You will also receive a pack in your child’s tray informing you of key information.
Thank you to all of those that took the time to attend. The feedback suggests that all of those that did attend found it very useful. The feedback is now displayed in nursery – on the nursery corridor and on the ‘Parent Feedback’ wall.
Unfortunately two large ride-on cars have gone missing from our garden in the last few days. They were the little tykes red and yellow coupe style cars and they are being missed already! If you notice any cars matching this description in or around the school area please let us know. We think they were taken during the evening. Thank you.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you tonight at the ‘Sharing the learning’ event hosted by myself and Mrs Ogilvie. The presentation will begin at 6.30pm and last approximately 1 hour. It will take place in the dining room. Please enter via the main office door – not through the nursery entrance. Thank you.
Thank you to all of those parents who signed up for the focus group.
Our morning focus group consists of: Annie’s mum, Amy’s mum, Thomas’s mum, Olivia’s mum and Diana’s mum.
The afternoon morning focus group was very popular. We used a random name generator to select 6 parents. Those selected are: James’s mum, Daniel’s mum, Michael’s mum, Mees’s mum, Murray’s mum and Harley’s mum. Apologies to those that were not selected.
Focus group members – please look our for the agenda for our first meeting in your child’s tray soon.
Griff’s letter to Tim Peake has prompted a huge interest in space. You can see his letter and his tweet reply on the ‘Look at me learning at home’ wall. We are very excited that Tim Peake was in touch with Griff!
Griff helped Mrs Gordon and Mrs Duncan get some space resources today. These instantly became very popular. We had great fun exploring these new resources this afternoon.
The green and yellow class will be visiting the forest on Tuesday 20th September and Tuesday 27th September.
The red and blue class will be visiting the forest on Wednesday 21st and Wednesday 28th September.
We will need 10 parent helpers for each morning and each afternoon session. Please keep these days free if you wish to help. Regrettably, siblings can’t join us in the forest. The sign up sheet will be displayed in nursery soon. We look forward to having you join us on our forest adventures.
This week we have been making our own underwater scenes using our website of the week. You can find it by clicking here. The children can try making their own scenes, estimating how many of each fish they have and then counting.
