Wow! What a fantastic day the nursery boys and girls had today. We hope you all enjoyed watching it as much as the children enjoyed performing.
We spent some time at Cults West Church at the lovely Christmas tree festival. Ewan Gilchrest, the minister, and Peter read us a story and told us a little bit more about Jesus. We then had some time looking at the different Christmas trees. We thought the best one was the nursery tree – it is so sparkly! Please pop along to see our tree if you have not already done so. It is located inside the front door.
We then walked ‘a very long way,’ according to the children, to get to the hub. We sang a selection of Christmas songs with a nativity theme. Some children even had speaking parts! The nursery staff were all very, very proud of the children for performing with such enthusiasm – this really is a fantastic achievement for three and four-year-olds. Well done everyone!
Here is a selection of photogrpahs from our very busy day. You can click here or here to see two different videos.
Parents: please feel free to leave your feedback from the performance on the parent planning board inside nursery or by replying to this post.
Absolutely fantastic, such a great afternoon. The children were super stars and did tremendously well.
Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and preparation for the day it truly was an achievement and a half.
Thank you Shona! We are glad you enjoyed it. Conor was a wee star!
It was a wonderful afternoon, so lovely to see all the children enjoying themselves singing their songs. Eilidh was so pleased to have performed in front of all those people – it has given her a real confidence boost! Thank you for organising it all, have a happy Christmas.
Such a lovely afternoon. The children were amazing. Thanks to the staff for all their efforts and to the children for their entertainment
