Primary 4 Blog

During Term 1 the children enjoyed learning about the Vikings as our topic.

We did a lot of work throughout the term including measuring the length of a real Viking long ship; designing our own ships to see if they would float; retelling Viking legends using comic strips and we even had a Viking feast!

This term we are going to be learning about the importance of Recycling. If  children could please take in items for junk modelling or adding to our compost pile, this would be greatly appreciated.

Behaviour

In Primary 4 the children have been working hard to earn raffle tickets. These are given when we do something well or behave in a responsible manner. The Star of the Week is then pulled out on a Monday morning from the tub which contains the previous weeks raffle tickets. The more raffle tickets we get –  the greater the chance of being the Star of the Week!

Reminders

  • Spelling is issued on a Monday and due on Thursday
  • Homework diaries should be taken into school everyday
  • Spelling homework is due every week
  • Maths homework is set every fortnight.
  • PE is on Monday and Wednesday

Please Keep in  touch
