Continuing on the theme of Article 27 and the right to have a home, this morning at assembly volunteers came up to the front to act out jobs that happen in their home; these included hoovering, dishes, cooking and online shopping.  We discussed whether these jobs would happen in every home.  The learners decided no.  A short video clip from a charity was shown with a family cooking at home in Africa.  We played ‘spot the difference’ to compare the differences to our homes.  This will be continued next week.

Many children were very excited to receive a golden rules stickers this morning.  Today’s focus was ‘we listen‘ and ‘we work hard‘.
