It was lovely to come back to school for the new term and start with assembly, where all learners were so engaged and able to remember learning from last term.  We continue to focus on Rights Respecting Schools and the right / article we are to learn about this term is the right to be safe.  In assembly today we looked at images and grouped them into safe and not safe and explained why.

All children were also informed of the Christmas Show that  P1 – P3 are to participate in this year, which is ‘Prickly Hay’. We listened to the song clips and I summarised the story.  All children will be in the choir and then there will be an opportunity for those who wish to take part in a short audition for a speaking role.  Auditions will take place soon.
