Welcome to the first post on my blog this school year.  We had our first P1 – P3 assembly yesterday and the children were all absolutely amazing.   It was so lovely to have all classes together.  We are continuing to work on the Rights Respecting Schools project and we are initially focusing on Article 27, which involves learning about the importance of having a home and comparing and contrasting our own lives to that of other children living in other parts of the world.  We made a start to this yesterday and as said previously, the children’s responses were brilliant and almost all were volunteering answers.  What a super start!

Stars of the Week –

Star Class were P1L.  Children from P1L came up to help at the front, volunteered answers and followed our assembly rules.  Fantastic!
