Today was the last day of focusing on Rights Respecting Schools and the right to play as we look forward to welcoming our VIP P1s next week!

Over the last few weeks we have watched a number of short video clips and discussed images of children’s play experiences from other parts of the world.  Focusing on being creative and imaginative, I displayed some ‘blank canvas’ objects and the children thought of creative and imaginative ideas for these.   A paper bag was to be a parachute, a piece of material was to play hairdressers and a stick was to be a flag.  How fab!

Before leaving to go back to class this morning, some P2 boys shared photos of their first football gala at Hazelhead on Saturday.  They were very proud of themselves and quite rightly so.

Star Class were P1m.  Well done to all the girls and boys.
