Thanks to the Community Team at Tesco, we have acquired a recycled banner to make our sign for a safer school car park.

We chose Phoebe’s (P7) design and some of the Eco Committee have been helping Phoebe to make it.  It should be on display outside very soon.

The Bring & Buy Sale will be on Friday 1st February 2019 to raise money to repair the Wildlife Garden Fence. We would really appreciate donations of toys and books – more information to follow next term.

On Tuesday we had our second eco meeting this term. The eco committee viewed entries for the design a car park safety banner challenge and selected their favourite design. Here are the committee hard at work choosing and our design winner was Phoebe from P7.

Mrs Miller has been exceptionally busy and she is on to her next eco mission; organising a bring and buy sale to raise funds to repair the wild life garden fence. So look out for the letters and bring in your old, good quality books and toys.

Our first meeting of term 2 was very productive.  First of all, we all voted on a design for our “Car park Safety” playground banner and some of us have not started to make the banner.

Secondly the “Eco jobs” rota was distributed and each representative is responsible for making sure the jobs are done by their class.

Lastly, we discussed our “Bring and Buy” sale for raising money to pay for a new fence for the nature garden.
