We were using the interactive board in Primary 1 to learn more about our senses.
Scooter day
Scooter day was a tremendous success. We all had lots of fun. Even Kathleen and Miss Aitken had a go – which Joshua found hilarious! We could go really fast on our scooters and some of us could even do some stunts.
Our touching hands
This week we have been learning all about our touching hands.
Dress up day!
We really enjoyed coming in dressed in our favourite costumes. The morning nursery went to show them off to Primary 1 and in the afternoon we did a parade during the infants assembly.
Scooter day – Friday 31st May
Remember to bring your scooter with you to nursery next Friday. If you don’t have one or are unable to bring yours on this day, please let me know before next Friday so I can look out a nursery scooter for you to borrow.
Our hearing ears!
This week we have enjoyed learning all about our ‘hearing ears’. We made telephones using string and cups and we made megaphones. We liked the talking tubes the best. We heard lots of news through the talking tubes – a pterodactyl had escaped and a T-Rex was chasing it! We played a game where someone was blindfolded and another person had to say something – it was trickier than you think to guess who it was! During music time we had to guess the instrument someone was playing without looking. We were good at this. In gym we were taking monster, fairy, fast and slow steps depending on the different pieces of music we heard.
Nursery Trip to Duthie Park
Sorry for any confusion over the date of our trip. The trip is on Friday 7th June.
Helpers for our trip to Duthie Park
We needed additional helpers for our trip to Duthie Park on Friday 7th June. Thank you!
