Homework will be handed out on Monday and will be due in for Friday. Please ask your parent or carer to sign each piece of your homework before you hand it in.

Topic

Japanese Inventions Talks due Monday 12th December.

Over the next two weeks, please write and practise a talk on a Japanese invention of your interest – anything from robots and artificial intelligence to ramen cooling fans is fine, so long as you can make it interesting for your audience to listen to.

  • The talk should be between 2-3 minutes in length.
  • You can use PowerPoint or take in cue cards and picture/props to use during your presentation.
  • The talk should be interesting, well-rehearsed and have a clear introduction and conclusion.
  • Remember to practise at home and to give good eye contact when presenting.
  • The talks will be peer and teacher assessed in class.

We are looking forward to listening to a variety of talks so remember to choose your subject carefully and spend quality time preparing and practising your presentation!
