Animal tracking at Duthie Park

Today we visited Duthie Park to take part in an animal tracking workshop. We got to look at different animal tracks, such as roe deer, Scottish wild cat, otter, badger and mallard duck. We made prints of these in sand and learned how to identify which animal had made the print and which direction they were travelling in. We also made some human tracks, creating a track for another group to follow. The other activity was needle felting where we learned how to use felt and wool to make pictures of some of the animal tracks we had learned about earlier.
