Interview with Fiona Stalker
Over the past 3 years, Fiona Stalker of BBC North East has been a major supporter of Northfield Academy’s involvement in BBC School Report, helping us link with North East Scotland College, providing resources and tonnes of advice to our intrepid reporters.
Today, Emma interviewed Fiona to find out a bit more about the person as well as the reporter:
Football News
Today 3 football players got a call from the Gordon Strachan to say that they are in the squad. The first one was Hibernian’s own John Mcginn.
Second is Celtics young player Kieran Tierney.
Last but not least Aberdeen’s signing from last season Kenny Mclean and Derek Mcinnes had just one line to say to this “outstanding”. (Far left football player)
Aberdeen Football Club Conference
As part of the BBC School News Report 2016 for the third time Northfield Academy and Dyce Academy pupils got the chance to interview two Aberdeen Football Club players, Scott Wright and Barry Robson. To prepare we had set questions to ask both players which were both fun and informative, the interview was a success as we got to find out a little bit about the players off the pitch and how they train. Questions included: What was the first football team you played for? What inspired you to play football? and How much training do you have to do to prepare for a match?
The answers were interesting as it was from two different point of views as Scott is younger and has recently joined the team where as Barry was older and more experienced within the team.
Check back later to find out what they said.
