P5 Tour of an Egyptian Tomb

Primary 5 were Tour Guides during their recent topic on Egypt.  Their classroom was changed into King Tutankhamun’s Tomb with amazing artifacts, murals and research projects.  Parent’s ,pupils and staff were invited on the tour and the P1’s especially enjoyed the fascinating facts and information on show.  The atmosphere was created by children in costume, dimmed lighting and excellent models made by the children themselves.  They also presented an assembly to the whole school to showcase their learning.  WELL DONE and THANK YOU P5.

Litter Less Campaign update

In January the Eco group went out into the community to spread the Litter Less Campaign. We approached local businesses and asked them to display our posters to encourage people not to drop litter and to warn people of the dangers caused by dropping litter. A huge thank you to Flourish, Ceramika, Spar, Rock Salt and Snails, Blooms and Balloons by Suzie, Claremont Studio, Claire’s Sandwich Shop and JG Ross for all agreeing to display our posters. If you would like to help spread the campaign in your business please get in touch.
