\n-write the 3-digit number
\n-draw the sticks
\n-copy the units digit
\n-copy the tens digit and put a zero on the end
\n-copy the hundreds digit and put two zeroes on the end

I \u2013 Smile Multiplication (Step 1): I can multiply multiples of 10. For example, 3 x 50 = 150
\nRemember that you are swapping units for tens:
\n-do the tables bit
\n-count the zeros in the question
\n-put the zeros on your answer
\nTry these: 4 x 40 = __, 5 x 60 = __, 3 x 20 = __, 5 x 90 = __, 4 x 80 = __<\/p>\n
C – Addition (Column Method Step 1): I can solve a 2 digit + 2 digit without crossing 10. For example: 36 + 42 = 78<\/p>\n
