C \u2013 Count Fourways: I can count in 1000s
\nStart at 0 and count in 1000s. Once you can do that easily, try counting back in 1000s or try starting at a different number and count on in 1000s.<\/p>\n
L – Practise these facts: Please see Google Classroom for facts to learn.<\/p>\n
I – X10 & \u00f710 (x10 – Step 1): I can multiply whole numbers by 10. For example, 13 x 10 = 130
\nRemember to:
\n-place a zero on the units end
\n-remember that this moves the digits one place to the left
\n-remember that this makes the number 10 times bigger
\nTry these: 34 x 10 = __, 89 x 10 = __, 56 x 10 = __, 28 x 10 = __, 63 x 10 = __<\/p>\n
C – Subtraction (Step 27): I can any 2 digit \u2013 2 digit question. For example, 46 \u2013 17 =
\nRemember to:
\n-show the gap on a number line
\n-write in the next multiple of 10
\n-jump to the next multiple of 10 using your jigsaw numbers to 10
\n-jump from the multiple of 10 to the target number
\n-add the 2 jumps
