C \u2013 CORE numbers (Step 3): I can understand 2-digit numbers.
\nRemember to:
\n-order the numbers by their tens digit
\n-then, if they have the same tens digit, order by the units digit
\nPut these in order from smallest to largest: 53, 31, 17, 13, 91, 67<\/p>\n
L – Practise the facts of the 4x table up to 12 x 4. Try playing a game like Hit the Button to get faster!<\/p>\n
I – Doubling and Halving: Halving (Step 3): I know half of 300, 500, 700, 900.
\nLearn that half of\u2026
\n-300 is 150
\n-500 is 250
\n-700 is 350
\n-900 is 450<\/p>\n
C – Subtraction (Step 25): I can take a multiple of 10 from any 2-digit number. For example, 46 \u2013 20 = 26
\nRemember to:
\n-set out the gap on a number line
\n-find the tens digit of the gap by comparing the two 10s digits
\n-check the units digit hasn\u2019t changed
