C \u2013 CORE numbers (Step 4): I can understand 3-digit numbers.
\nRemember to:
\n-order the numbers by their hundreds digit
\n-then, if they have the same hundreds digit, order by the tens digit
\n-then, if they have the same tens digit, order by the units digit
\nPut these in order from smallest to largest: 573, 931, 287, 273, 121, 547<\/p>\n
L – Practise the facts of the 6x table up to 12 x 6. Try playing a game like Hit the Button to get faster!<\/p>\n
I \u2013 Fact Families (Step 5): I know Smile Multiplication fact families. For example, 20 x 90 = 1800, 90 x 20 = 1800, 1800 \u00f7 20 = 90, 1800 \u00f7 90 = 20.
\nRemember to:
\n-copy the Smile Multiplication fact
\n-write the switcher
\n-bring the total to the front, change the symbol and write the 2 switchers<\/p>\n
C – Multiplication (Step 11): I can solve 1 digit x 2 digit (x2,3,4,5). For example, 4 x 23 =
\nRemember to:
\n-partition the 2-digit number
\n-write out the 2 questions
\n-multiply the units
\n-multiply the tens using smile multiplication
\n-add the answers to find the total
