We are continuing to work on the following targets

C – Counting in 2 to 20

L – subtraction stories to 20

I – Doubling numbers

C – Adding numbers together

Try to make any maths work at home as fun as possible – games, puzzles and jigsaws are a great way to start. It is also important to show how we use maths skills in our everyday lives so try to involve your child in this.

Literacy Work

The boys and girls  will continue doing a lot of word building activities and making CVC words this week.

We are continuing to work really hard on our handwriting too. Please do handwriting homework on Monday and Wednesday night.

There will be no new reading books this week as we are working hard on our P1 assembly.

Please play with your child and encourage them to build their knowledge and understanding.
