Our afternoon children brought in some fantastic decorated eggs! They attended the special prize giving assembly which featured a visit from THE EASTER BUNNY!!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you have all had a restful Easter Holiday! It was great to see all of the children back at Nursery yesterday and we will have an exciting week meeting some new friends as we have lots of new children starting this week! We would like to say a big, “Welcome!” to the new boys and girls and their families!

Over the last two weeks our Wee Green Spaces trips have ventured further afield and we are now taking the children to the Kincorth Gramps once a week.  Half of the morning class go on a Wednesday morning and half go on a Friday morning. The afternoon class go together, usually on a Wednesday afternoon. We have been exploring the new space and learning about the natural world!

We would like to say a BIG “Thank you!” to our parent helpers. We wouldn’t be able to go without you!

I apologise for the lack of blog posts in the recent past, we have been having some technical difficulties!

Each week in Nursery the children get to visit a “Wee Green Space” to explore. We do a wide range of activities whilst we are there including climbing trees, looking at bugs, building bivouacs and using the binoculars! Here are some photos from Tuesday’s session!

Since being back from the Winter break we have been enjoying the sunny weather and getting back outside! We have been practising swing ball and cycling as well as getting our water proof suits on and off by ourselves!

Today we also had a special birthday, the first of several this week!

Yesterday we had a Christmas Fun Day in the nursery with crafts, games and a Christmas sing-along! We had an amazing time and we were so pleased to see lots of family members in the nursery, thank you for your ongoing support!

We had a fantastic time at the Christmas parties on Friday!

We ate party food, played party games and had a visit from Santa!

We are making head dresses for our Christmas sing along!

The sing along is on Tuesday 20th December! Parents/carers welcome at 10:15 (AM class) and 2:00 (PM class)

This week in nursery we are practising playing games in small groups. We have been enjoying dotty dinosaurs and the goldilocks board game! We are learning to take turns, use dice and move out counters on a board.
