Spelling: Spelling words must be copied and you should write at least three sentences using three words.

HWB: Practice 5 minutes of mindfulness to look after your mental health. Get your family involved.

Literacy: Can all pupils bring in their favourite Roald Dahl book or a picture of their favourite character from a Roald Dahl book. We are celebrating Roald Dahl day on Thursday 13th September 2018. So please bring it in for that day 🙂

Other: Can all pupils bring in a tissue box for the classroom. The cold weather is approaching.

 I– It’s Nothing New: Doubling with Pim: I can double 2 digit multiples of 10

 C– Calculations: Subtraction (Step 31): I can solve 4d – 2d e.g 4628 – 35 =

C– Counting: Reading Numbers (Step 7,8,9):  I can read 6,5,4 digit numbers

 L– Learn Its: Step 6: Count in 2s from 0 to 20 and above for challenge which we are focusing on.

 I– It’s Nothing New: Adding with PIM (Step 5): I can add hundredths

 C– Calculations: Addition (Step 32 + 33): I can solve any 1 dp + 1dp e.g 0.8 + 0.9

Update of Primary 6

Primary six have been busy completing team work challenges and showing Mr. Doyle that they truly are all amazing. Here they are creating a 10 star hotel for kids. They had a criteria to fit and then had to present to the class. There were some very unique hotels!!

Our next challenge was a STEM challenge which really tested the pupils’ listening and fine motor skills. Once they perfected each section, I made it even more difficult. Lets just say primary six can make a cup pyramid only using an elastic band whilst blind folded extremely easy looking (after a few tries)…
