Illness
If your child is ill, please contact us to let us know the reason for the absence. We need to have an emergency address and telephone number of a relative or friend, should your child become unwell in nursery. It is vital that this contact number is kept updated. If you have a change of emergency contact during the school year, please inform nursery as soon as possible.
Clothing
Your child will require indoor shoes to wear in the nursery. We also have a nursery sweatshirt available from nursery at a cost of £9.00. This makes our nursery children the same as every other pupil in Scotstown School. Please put your child to school in comfortable clothes that do not have difficult buckles, buttons or belts on them. We ask that you put a change of clothing in your child’s bag i.e. socks, pants, trousers in case of any accidents happening during the nursery session. We also ask that you bring a box of tissues at the beginning of the school year to help cope with colds and sniffles!!
Snack
Snack money is payable every Monday and is £2.50 per week. If your child is absent for a whole week then we do not ask you to pay. However, if your child is absent for part of the week then we still require £1.50 as the snack shopping is done in advance.
