Parent Council

Scotstown Parent Council was formed in October 2007 to promote co-operation between parents and teachers in everything pertaining to the well-being of the school and its pupils; to provide opportunities for the discussion of matters relating to the education and welfare of the pupils and to organise social and fund-raising events for the benefit of children, teachers and parents.  All matters concerning individual pupils should be raised in the first instance with the Head Teacher.

All parents of pupils attending Scotstown School are members of the Parents Forum.  The Parent Council is the representative group whose members are elected at an Annual General Meeting held in September/October in school. Minutes of meetings and information for parents are posted at the Parent Council Noticeboard in the school foyer. Any members of the Parent Forum are welcome to attend a Parent Council meeting.
