For the first part of this term our topic is Islam.  We have been learning, discussing and doing some art to learn more about the religion,its customs and beliefs.  We have learned about Mohammad, designed our own Hamsa hands and Islamic style tiles and we have discussed and learned all about the 5 pillars.

This week some of our peers told us all about the Mosque, their facts were very interesting and we are looking forward to their lesson next week on the Qu’ran.

On Friday the P7s had their first full day visit to Bridge of Don Academy.  Although they were a little apprehensive in the morning, they soon started enjoying the lessons and being “S1 pupils” for a day.
