Today we did a science experiment to see which substances would dissolve (soluble) and not dissolve (insoluble) in water.  We used the same size of cups and the same amount of substances to ensure that it would be a fair test.  We were quite surprised to see that some of it was not a soluble.  The substances we tested was:  Salt, sugar, chalk, tea leaves, coffee, flour, gravel and sand.
