We have been learning so much about the Victorians these last couple of weeks.  We had a Victorian workshop at school and a Victorian trail through Aberdeen with Mr Alan Patterson, that we enjoyed so much!  We were lucky to get some lovely weather when we were out and about (even though it was still a bit cold!)  All the children participated wonderfully and we got some great feedback from them.

We also went to the Art Gallery to look at some Victorian art.  We learned how to really look carefully at a painting to see all the little details.  The painting we concentrated on is called ‘Flood in the Highlands’.
