We have been enjoying learning all about life in Australia and comparing it to living in Scotland.

Thanks to the children who have brought in some interesting artefacts to share with the other children in class and at assembly.  Alex brought in a Didgeridoo that his dad brought back from Australia.  Liam brought in a boomerang and Kade took in a small wooden dish made in Australia.  Daniel also made an Australian Flag.

We learned that the Aboriginals painted pictures using dots so we decorated our own boomerangs using cotton buds to create the colourful patterns.

We had great fun and think they all look fantastic!
