AKER Apprentice Recruitment 2014<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Following on from previous years successes, Manufacturing & Ops are looking to recruit apprentices to begin employment from August 2014.\u00a0 We are looking for apprentices in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Design disciplines.\u00a0 We offer a 4 year apprenticeship which includes:<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Year 1:\u00a0 SVQ Level 2 & PEO at Tullos College.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Year 2:\u00a0 Commence SVQ Level 3* and HNC**<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Year 3:\u00a0 Continue to progress with SVQ Level 3 and complete HNC.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Year 4:\u00a0 Complete SVQ Level 3.<\/p>\n

*SVQ Level 3 will be complete onsite whilst completing Workshop rotations.<\/p>\n

**HNC will be completed at Aberdeen College (Day Release).<\/p>\n

Due to the content of the HNC and SVQ\u2019s, the successful candidates should possess the following:<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Higher\/Intermediate 2 Maths (If awaiting results, prelims score may be considered)<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Aged between 16-21.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Previous work experience.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An understanding of oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work alone as well as working with others.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Problem solving.<\/p>\n

\u25a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A strong desire to work and develop within the oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n
