Waste Aware Week – April 2017

A waste treasure hunt, selling eco friendly water bottles,  designing waste superheroes and informational posters and a bring and buy sale were just a few of the things happening during Waste Aware Week!

World Water Day – 22nd March 2017

UNCRC – Article 24 – Every child has the right to the best possible health.  Governments must work to provide good quality heath care, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that children can stay healthy.  Richer countries must help poorer countries to achieve this.

P7 took the lead at Assembly today in recognition of World Water Day.  Facts and Figures were used to persuade the rest of the school to save water.  They provided good tips

on how to do this.  All children were asked to share their knowledge with their family.  Classes also enjoyed making posters with their ‘buddies’
